grace coddington, the september issue

I loved Grace Coddington in the September Issue. In fact I just love Grace Coddington. She does an extraordinary job as the Creative Director of American Vogue, as you can see just by looking at the end result of some of the shoots she directed for the September Issue. But while she has one of most wanted jobs in the industry she carries on doing it with such a humble approach always remembering where she came from. I find her so inspiring, and love how in the documentary she's the only one willing to stand up to Anna Wintour, who is of course someone else I very much look up to.

A couple of the shoots she did from The September Issue

Last but not least, two models posing as Grace and Anna, this made me giggle because their expressions are so accurate.

ruttituttifrutti:

Possibly the coolest outfit I've seen on a kid. I asked his dad's permission to take his picture, but I forgot to mention it was for a blog, hence the blurred face. I love the crazy amount of colours, textures, and patterns in this outfit, finished off with a pair of rubber clogs. I was anti rubber clogs until now, and although I don't plan to start rockin a pair anytime soon I might go get my 1 yr old nephew a pair. I'm bought!

ruttituttifrutti: autumn leaves

Autumn is so inspiring. I love the half naked trees, the beautiful colours, and the ground covered in leaves. It takes my breath away every year.

cherubic

che·ru·bic

/CHəˈro͞obik/

Adjective: Having the childlike innocence or plump prettiness of a cherub

I love coming across words I don't know and looking them up. It's like the more words I know the easier I can really express what's in my mind out loud.. maybe like a sense of expanding my word resume? haha. Call me strange but that's just one of 'my' things. Thought this word was cute. Cherubic!

ruttituttifrutti: reading

Loved this sight, so for the first time I asked a stranger if I could take a photo and lucky for me she said yes.
Her outfit is effortlessly beautiful and her short hair completes her look giving it an intriguing edge.

ruttituttifrutti:

My friend lives in the cutest little apartment with her mum. The apartment itself is as average as average gets but my theory is with the right eye you can make any space beautiful. And well, they both have the right eyes.

They had a plain lamp which they put lace over and some hanging beads. They got the chair from the street and painted it glossy pink which looks perfect with the mags on top. And my sewing machine that I had brought over was just in the way but I think it completed the photo.

Oh, and I forgot about good old owl. They had two, and I love owls. So they gave me one to take back to Melbourne with me. I painted mine white, and now whenever I see it in my room it reminds me of them. :)
